Tint should be fully illegal, way to many reasons to list why

for real, ive personally never seen a winshield tinted dark like you guys are talking about. ive only seen the 5'' strip of tint that sits at the very top, but thats it, and its common, so what does the tint look like? if its pitch black then id say its worth giving you a 250 dollar ticket. but if its not fully tinted i would be sayin wtf.

theres a local guy here with a 70s nova that has the entire windshield done with 20% and everything else 2.5%

at night you cant see a fvcking thing. its just plain retarded. looks nice tho

I think the police raised valid safety concerns in the article.

What I think is a little more ridiculous is that in my county it's more expensive to receive a ticket for throwing a cigarette butt out of the window than it is for driving 20mph over the speed limit, running a stop sign, running a red light, and other relatively major (i.e. potentially life threatening to other motorists/pedestrians) moving violations. To me, if the county feels that tossing a cigarette butt out of the window is worth $140 or whatever it was in fines....I have no problem with that. But serious moving violations should be proportionally more expensive, not less expensive.

250 bucks if your fronts are tinted. Nobody I know in CHicago has the windshield done.

Police did not raise those concerns. How are you a threat trying to get to point B? If they don't stop you for dumb shit, there's no risk of getting shot.

Man 25 to 250...........yeah that seems a little rash.

I believe it is 80 here. I get stoped all the time when I go into my parents neighborhood. They always see the baby in the back and let me go, lol! I have been pulled over 4 times now and most know who I am from living there most my life.

They keep telling me to take it off, but I haven't yet and I just roll down all my windows and ever since then I haven't gotten pulled over. 4 times in 2 years!

Mine is 20% all around too, with a 5% strip across the front. I don't get or understand the whole tinting the front windshield.
