Fvckin ticket.

Lol I'm ridin with the windows down unless in a monsoon. AC rapes mpg, already have 400 extra pounds in my hatch.
Actually it's been proven that in most late models the AC is better on gas than what opening the windows does to your aerodynamics.

ill call BS, that test was done in large suv's that have v8's when it comes to a 4 banger the same is just not true, the amount of power it takes to run the ac it slaughters fuel economy,

i can pull 32-34 a gallon in my tib with windows down interstate driving, with the ac on that drops to around 22 MPG, its just not worth it.

Then all I can say is get a big boy car...

I always drive with my windows down lol. My car rattles too much if I have them up and the lows aren't so great with them up.
I hate how much the windows up kills the lows. Summer=Metal Fall/Winter/Spring=Decaf.

Just because you saw it on mythbusters don't mean ****. That was in a ford expo. Try it in a 02 chevy ext cab, yeah it makes a difference.
It was actually a GM sponsored interview with the GM CEO. In said video he also stated that you lose mileage dropping or removing the tailgate. Tailgate helps squat the rear end, which improves the angle in which air hits the windshield. They have these things called engineers test this stuff. Who knew.

im fine with my car, it also doesnt get as hot here as Texas.

and thats actually not the reason that having the tailgate has an effect on MPG, its the fact that the with it up it creates a pocket of air in the bed, when its down the air just comes down on top to the tailgate and increasing the pressure on the back of the vehicle.

No, the rear of a truck needs to be depressed by 1-2 degrees. That makes the windshield more aerodynamic. That's why most people gain a couple mpg when they lower their rear ends 1-2"

I'd fight it murph. Either way, if you lose you still pay (which would also be the same if you did not fight it) but you have a good fighting chance to win IMHO. Sounds like the cop was bored or on a power trip. I've noticed VA cops try to nail people for anything

One year at SBN I got a ticket for headlights and not wearing my glasses... took it to court and the judge didn't even ask me anything, just dropped them and moved to the next person. Def. worth fighting.

I can SEE a difference in my gas gauge bro, all the proof i need.

my area did away with noise ordinance laws... to bad im not loud enough to get one even if there was //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
