Most people have enough sense to turn it down at a light or while riding through a residential area. But the assclowns that drive around fulltilt with no regard for the people around them make shit hard on everyone.

Impounding a vehicle for a loud stereo is absurd. If teenagers and 20somethings were riding around on Harleys with loud pipes everyone would be pissed about it. Most Harley and cruiser enthusiasts are 35 and older, that makes louds pipes on motorcycles acceptable. If we could get a few 40 year old soccermoms to turn their vans into bass machines we would have half a chance of avoiding this bullshit.

Florida sucks with that. My city especially. I understand it to a point, but impounding some one's car is so **** unfair.

People here ride around in car with straight headers and shit like that, but I'm the one that got pulled over the other day for my bass. I mean come on, I'm giving my **** sub 150 rms, and the assclown cop said his laptop was rattling on it's stand. Bull shit! Luckily he gave me a warning. Port St. Lucie's (my city) main objective on the street is to pull over any and all cars exceeding the "volume".

I disagree. Its not like he is driving drunk or putting people around him in harms way. He should just respect residential neighborhoods. A lot of things are unreasonably loud. Airplanes, chain saws, construction work and dump trucks. The list goes on an on.
