I think a few of you on this thread need to listen to some good bandpass setups before dismissing them all as rubbish. For example, Alumapro made a little bandpass setup similar to this years ago that actually had pretty good SQ. Its prefab bandpass enclosures that ****, because the generic design almost never matches the unkown driver added later. But Id be willing to bet MBQ did a little homework on the design before slapping it together. Cheesy? Ya. But like Punk said, without a listen, you really shouldn't dismiss it as poor SQ.

And another thing RF owned MB quart until about 6 months ago... the put it through hell and back making the quality go down the drain.. maxxsonics purchased it and have since taken mb quart back to its roots for good sound quality.

also all of you who are talking crap about the other maxxsonics brand should take a quick look at the bench test results of the gp1600.1 by Eric alexander.. It played with no issue at .35 ohms and 16v
