fusing dual power wire???

I could be way off here, but I think that the two imputs on the amp are internally connected to the same power supply. You can test this by running a continuity check on the two imputs with a DMM. Therefor your current would be added together at the node, so assuming both conductors carry equal current that is the proper way of doing it. Someone correct me if I am wrong
