Fuses...

What's the difference between a KF fuse and MANL? They look the same in pictures, they both only go up to 150 amps... I have a Tsunami fused battery terminal that takes MANL and I just ordered a Phoenix Gold fused battery terminal that says it takes KF fuses. I don't want to have to buy new fuses. Obviously, if my MANL fuses won't work in it, I'm going to have to pick up some KF fuses.

Thanks in advance for you answers.

Correct. I'm comparing KF with MANL or mini ANL. They both only go up to 150 A which is what I currently run with my setup in my car. The reason I was comparing them is because I have a Tsunami fused battery terminal that's going to be going on my car. That takes MANL fuses. I already have the fuses for it. When the terminal arrived, the cap was really loose fitting so I sent it back for an exchange. In the meantime, I ordered a Phoenix Gold fused battery terminal. Those take KF fuses rather than MANL. I basically wanted to know if I needed to get KF fuses to use instead of the MANL fuses. The fuses look nearly identical. I tried the MANL fuse in my Phoenix Gold terminal and it fit with no issues. Based on the design of the Phoenix Gold, I don't believe that a KF fuse would fit into a holder designed for a MANL fuse. The MANL appears to be thinner than what Phoenix Gold designed their fuse holder for.

i'd just match up the fuses to their respected fuse holders. no point in trying to mix and match and then it blows for no reason or something stupid like that lol

I'm fine with the MANL in the KF holder. You'd think it's a perfect match if you saw it. The MANL looks just like an ANL but it's smaller. A KF looks like an ANL but smaller. I believe the only difference with them is the thickness of the plastic that goes over the fuse filament. I don't believe that would even matter. The mounts on the fuse and on the terminal line up perfectly. Now, I'll have the choice as to which fused terminal I want to use when my replacement Tsunami comes in...
