fuses keep blowing with my amp wtf?

OK well i just installed my profile ap1200 in my MR2, it worked perfectly in my lumina.

IN the lumina, i would just have everything connected, but the power wire to the amp, id stick in the fuse, connect the power to the battery terminal and thats it

whenever i do the same thing my fuses spark and i blow the fuses in my amp (gone through 9 so far)

ive tried everything connected but the main fuse, it sparked, blew the amps fuses

tried connected the fuse and everything but the power to amp, tried it and the power cable sparked and blew the fuses

so wtf?

i checked my ground with the multimeter, it looks fine.

Is it that my power cable is shorting out somewhere?

please help, im sad

i tried a new ground, since the first one was hard to sand it down good, and this one is perfect and it still blows the fuses

with my multimeter, i get continuity between the + and ground terminals on my amp, that would be bad right?

ok so if i wanted to try it in my lumina, just to see if it powers on, what do i do about the remote?

it has the stock HU in it, and ya

can i just touch the remote wire to the battery terminal? or does it have to be a constant power?

Just run a short wire from the remote to the +bat. Turns the amp on.
