Ok, so i noticed a problem in my car the other day, and then i opened the hood and both my main fuse and my fuse from the alt to battery blew

the alt is 150A, and both fuses i had were 150A and they both blew. I put a new 100 amp fuse in my main (which was what it was before, and it blew as soon as i reconnected the negative terminal. The one from the alt to batter is 150 A and it was blown as well...any ideas?

i figured it out, whoever put my alternator on ran my 0/1awg next to the **** serpentine belt, basically tearing the shit out of the shielding, causing it to ground out, everything should be fixed tomorrow

well i was only home for a few days, and it took me a while to find the alt, and then the guy was nice enough to do it in one day without notice, when it probably would have taken me a few
