you could get away with using a regular one but I would not recommend it by any means. Get a fused one to be safe. The non-fused distro. blocks should be used for ground wires.
All a distro. block really does is securely connect wires together. When splitting a power wire its best to use a fused block so that there is a separate fuse between each amp (or whatever) so that if one amp goes it just blows the one fuse instead of knocking out the main fuse that runs the whole system.
