There I was going into the school building, and who do I see but a freind( we have a private rivalry going between us on whos louder) he says " i got my new stuff"... by new stuff he reffers to the audiobahn eternal 12" he ordered after saying mine sucked, in a big ported box..altho his amp isnt in yet.. currently its on a legacy 1000w amp it was ok but not very loud. anyway i talked to him and he said the guy at the audio shop he went too plugged the numbers into the computer and whatnot..i guess according to my freind it can get up too 200db...jeeze that's loud don't you think? sad sad day when someone can say something that unbelievable....

not as bad as the argument i had with someone over his 248dB setup. It my opinion that when you claim the acoustic intensity in your car exceeds intensities found in neuclear reactions, well, you just loose credibilty and should stop arguing...

The loudest man made noise ever recorded was in the range of 197 dBA...the Apollo Saturn V on liftoff at the pad.

Pretty **** loud.

SPL wise, I doubt there will be a major difference between the 3004SPL and the Eternal... its going to come down to yours and his install.

got the SPL in today, just breaking it in before i get too loud..hehe he'll be giving his more power..to much power i believe hes going to attempt to put 1200w through his a-bahn rated at 1100, whiles its in the biggest reccomended ported enclosure. i had it in a 2.0 box with 700 going through it( my old eternal) and it started sounding distorted. but after i get my box built and he gets the a-bahn amp i'll post results of who the "winner" is
