funny story about philly cops

well i was driving around a university with my music blasting at around 1 am. then a cop turned on his siren and told me to pull over. i was like ****, imma get a ticket for loud music which is like 300 bucks!?! however to my amazement, the ****ing cops just pull me over to ask where i got the new bone thugs n harmony album from. i was like u got to be kidding me rite, but the cops was like is that the new bone thugs n harmony album and asked me where i got it from. if this wasnt wierd enough, i was playing a song call 9mm. luckily these cops were cool as shit.

What do you think of that area? My girl is going to grad school at upenn next year. I am sure I will be around there from time to time. Hopefully it is a good place, and not to dangerous.

from what i heard on the news, the area is really bad. there is still a ****** at large around there, but there is alot of police patrolling. typical philly neighborhood in my opinion

Well University city is fairly safe being as it's pretty much center city(the only area the city cares about other than the northeast), but a couple blocks away is west philly, and if your girl isn't familiar with the area/people from there tell her it's better to stay close to school. Not that it's too bad, it's just like every other city neighborhood, but if your not from/understanding of a place like this it might not be her cup of tea.

Tell her to stay away from kensington & north philly. I lived there the first 25yrs. of my life and if it was for family and friends being there and kim's haircuts, I would never go back down there. That's how shitty it's gotten down there. I love my old neighborhood, just hate what it's turned into.

Edit: I'm not sure what type of people she's used to, but tell her most people in Philly come off as ignorant, but that's not really how we are. she shouldn't take offense to it.
