funny noise from hdc???

after listening to the sub at full tilt for about 5 minutes the hdc318 will start to sound differently, but it seems that it sounds louder at the same time....is what i'm hearing coming from the amp clipping or just a funny sound from the sub??., and now the sub gets a little warmer than it ever has..btw the amp was set with a dmm, so i wouldnt think there would be a whole lot of clipping

could be the suspencion making noise, is it broke in?

^^^...heck i thought it was, we played it for about a week with about 1000watts going to it, and then we turned the amp up to about 1700wrms, and its been like a month since its been installed.....so i guess it's that suspension noice everybody talks about, (what is that noise supposed to sound like?)
