Yes it does work. Mail will deilver it as long as you have enough taped on to cover postage. I sometimes do that when stamps have gone up, my old stamps aren't quite enough so I tape on a penny or a nickle. It works but its ghetto lol.

one time I got some hydraulic pumps from some guy in Texas. Instead of paying at the desk and getting a sticker it had like 40 37 cent stamps taped to it.

When you pay for a stamp, the post office gets that money. When you tape money to it, they get nothing. That doesn't make any sense.

i'm pretty sure if you send it in the PO will take the money off and put stamps on it and send it out with stamps. Just a guess though

my roomate did that for a while when the price of stamps went up two cents and wanted to use up old stamps. she would stick two pennies in a ziplock bag and put it with the envelope

the **** ziplock is worth more than 2 cents though
