if i can ever get around to getting the stuff in my sig installed we can head up to the local shop and get metered... although im sure your much louder ... dd9515B vs fully loaded 18 btl

I dont know. I've never been metered. I dont know of anybody or any shops around the Charlotte area that has a TL

theres a local shop here that has a termlab... costs $10 i think and we could play with it all we want

also playing below your tuning level is never good... considerig your box is 33 hz and your playing 20hz tones... thats how k4rts ended up destroying his BTL , but he was playing hoods run down that has like a 14 hz test tone or something

There is NOTHING wrong with playing music/tones below tuning. There IS something wrong with driving a sub beyond it's mechanical limits. This can often happen if you try to play stuff full tilt below tuning without a subsonic filter. It's all in the user, not in the material.

Again, it's all in the user and not in the content.

There is a huge difference in these two statements:

1) Playing below your tuning level is never good.

2) Playing content below tuning at full tilt can cause over excursion if you're not careful.

With an enclosure tuned to 33hz, the sub's cone movement will still be pretty well under control until about 25hz. Even at 25hz, there is a good chance the sub will still be in control. If there is a subsonic filter, there is even a larger chance the sub will still be within mechanical limits.
