that pioneer is upside down when that door is shut correct? if so that is trouble. shouldn't mount an amp upside down, especially in such a small area

shite really i cant see it being a problem but then agin you have a forum ***** tag so i must listen! anything else you can see wrong ? :p

also wires will wear thru and cause shorts eventually if they can move, might wanto tape them down or use grommets to avoid future fires!

amps dissipate heat through the heat sink. heat in general rises, so when said amp is upside down, the heat that gets dissipated will rise back into the amp, and the amp will never cool, then on top of that you only have a couple inches for the heat to escape so basically you are trapping heat around your amp

good point...umm its only been running a few short days like that so damage will be minimal i guess ill have ot find a new spot for it, thanks for the heads up. ill make sure i cable tie down the cables aswell... incase or large car fires!

thats the way i was told my a mate to set it up ?

run the RCAs from the Hu to the Monobloc and use the high level output from the Hu and connected it to the high level input to the amp seems to be working a treat everythings in working order or have i done it wrong?

yeah everythhing is fused and everything is also grounded very well i made perfect sure of it cos i cant afford to replace all that stuff even tho its only low end T_T subway pays rather low hahaha

the amp was only $200 Aus 4 channel 600w i think it gives 55rms each channel which is under doing my speakers at 65rms but thats okay with me
