Sold FT: Mcintosh MC431M for a big mono sub amp

happy new year everyone! i'm putting my Mcintosh MC431M for trade. my niche 6000d cant push my 2 idmax's to the limit. they are hungry for more power. i need a big mono sub amp that can output 3000w to 5000w rms@1ohm (so i can use it for future sub upgrade), something like the atomic 5000.1. because of the space limit of my current setup, i need this amp to be within 11in wide and 25in long. it'd be better to have the mounting screw holes on the short sides (connectors and buttons sides) instead of the long sides. the atomic 5000.1 is a perfect fit for my need. but i'll consider other offers too. just show me what you got

Here's some pix of my mac: it's in perfect working condition. there are some scratches as you can see from the pix. and it's missing one screw on one of the fans. specs: 4x100w rms @4ohm, or 2x200w rms @2ohm

the 431m is BIG, it measures about 18" x 12" x 2". i was gona replace my 420M with it. but it's a little bigger than i thought. n' it wouldn't fit in the current position of my 420m. so here it is, up for trade

great amp, who cares if it scratched hit it with some black spray paint that amp is amazing

To take a can of spray paint to that amp is NOT the thing to do/ .

If I bought it...I'd ask McIntosh if they would re~do the finish,and if they said yes,it would go there.

If not,than I'd have it powder coated the same way and have the lettering *Silk Screened*/....

around $700. but my paypal account has a monthly receiving limit of $500, n' i don't wana upgrade to business account. that's why i put it up for trade, unless ppl wana pay me with money order

how can ur id maxs handle more then 1000rms each?

i dont believe u at all that ur 2 id max 12's can handle 2000rms each

thx for the bump i have my idmax d4's wired in parallel giving me final impedance of 1ohm, but my Niche 6000D (2400rms x 1@1ohm) still can't max them out. so i guess they can handle more than 1200rms each, maybe 1500rms. that's why i want an amp that can output at least 3000rms@1ohm for now. but i might wana upgrade my subs in the future, so i'd consider bigger amps as well you dun have to use up all the power of your amp you know. a big amp can handle small subs, tho might be a little waste of power, but a small amp can never handle big subs
