I am trying to sell this for my moms boyfriend. His son's XBox got the RROD so he sent it in to get it fixed. Instead of waiting for it to be fixed, he bought his son a new one at Wally-World. He is now trying to sell the one we just got back from Microsoft. It will come with the console, power cables, and AV cables only, unless you wanna pay a little more for a wired/wireless controller. I will start it off at $145 shipped. Thanks, the price is negotiable.

Not interested, but did they replace the unit? You can check the back of the console for the manufacturing date, that can work to your benefit if its still in warranty. If so $145 is a steal

glws

No Hard drive. Just the 256mb system memory or w/e. No, they did not replace it, it has the same serial number. I am not sure if they would fix the red ring if it happens again, since its already been fixed. Its still within the 3 years so I think they would.

Test it first. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The one they sent me back has hella video display problems.

As long as the seal isnt broken and it gets another rrod they fix them for free.

gotcha, yea the RROD is covered for 3 years and if microsoft fix it they should have corrected the problem permanently anyways

Test it out for a bit. Maybe some picture of it being played? I have someone in mind that might want this.

you should post pictures showing this is a "jasper" chipset system, check the back power ratings for 12.1a on the rail..if so its a jasper system, which is suppose to totally defeat the RROD errors once and for all. Latest and greatest version of the 360. Google for more information....I own one and the system finally feels and sounds professional(i.e no flashy chrome, fan runs quiet as hell, power brick is even lighter than the old one since the system draws less power now)

During all the confusion of systems shitting out and rrod'ing microsoft went undercover in choosing new chips/components to run in place of the old faulty parts in hopes to fix the problem. They created a few new models with more efficient chips, mainly the GPU(less power consumption and less heat because of power ratings), but even the last few updates before the jasper chipset have shown to RROD. Jasper models came out on shelves in November of 08..guaranteed way to get one of these models is to snatch a Arcade bundle system(as the OP did). These machines also have 256mb built in flash memory, more than enough to save games.

Usually what Microsoft does is if the system has the classic GPU unit failure they just send you a brand new system... end of repairs haha. If you need to get rid of this and nobody is interested PM me and maybe we can work out something.

No, it is not a Jasper. It is an original chipset, so it is likely to RROD, but a lot less likely now that it has been fixed.
