It looks like the X, not a Q.

Maybe that's just me, but the back plate isn't steep enough to be a Q.

Hmmm. You say it's a 15?

The X wasn't made in a 15 to my knowledge.....

I'd put the pics over on the Fi forum on SSA if I were you that way you can find out what exactly it is.

if your local ill give you a good deal 230 for the 15 sub hifonics 3406 and 6.5 infinity kappas cant get a better deal than that

My guess would be ~1k based on soft parts he said were used.

If it is a D1 (odds are its not and its a D2) it could proably take 1200-1300 if it really is a Q coil. You wont hear the difference between 1300 and 1500.

they guy that sold it to me had it on 1200 @ 2 ohm

he told me to make a box 3-4 cu.ft tuned at 28 to 33 hz i dont know if that helps lol
