Well, I really have to hate to do this, I wanted to hang onto this guitar. It was originally sent to my previous employer with the plans of giving it away as part of a giveaway. Unfortunately things started to go off the tracks and we never made it to the end of that year before closing up shop. This was given to me in place of a bonus.
There are a number of guitars you might have seen out there that look like this, but most I can assure you are the not-so-limited edition ones that were 1 of 500 or 1 of 700 that many Rockford Fosgate dealers got as gifts for buying enough product. Those were from what I was told made in Asia and typically came in a soft sided case (we had one of those at work as well). This is number 6 of 25.
This bad boy was made in the Fender Custom Shop. The same shop and same guys who build Eric Clapton built this bad boy.
I will be adding more information as I get it. I've been told that it's based off of a Custom Classic Stratocaster C-neck guitar which retails for over $2000 (and which isn't 1 out of 50 limited edition). I'm working on getting the final specs (since they will build you whatever you want, I'm going to get some help identifying the specific pickups and other features with the Fender guys and provided those when I have them.
I'm asking $1500 OBO. It's brand new in the box, and even if you didn't care about the limited edition aspect of this bad boy, it's a $2000 even before the pretty paint job and the limited edition badges. I can take a bunch more pictures if requested, for some reason photobucket is compressing more than I remember. I have tons of references here, on ebay, on a number of other forums.
