One in picture shows 3 scratch on top and one on the bottom underside. what's the difference the 16v models and the 12v models?

16v 7kd are more for music/spl and can be run from 12v - 16v. The 12v is competition made to do more power at 14v down to 9v. And the 12v also have more internal components than the 16v. But most 7kds available are 16v models anyways. There are only a handful of 12v 7kds out there.
