3. Description/Condition:

I have for sale two old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 800a4 Transana amps. These amps are made in the USA and under rated by almost 50%! The birth sheet on one picture below says 1192 watts rms. These are class a/b amps and the sound quality is terrific with only .05% thd at rated power.

These are from my personal collection and are in terrific condition considering their age. They both include the end caps and the boards on both are absolutely flawless. I have never had a problem out of these and they have never been repaired. I'm only selling because I have way too many and need to make room for more stuff.

Again, made in the USA when quality really mattered. I guarantee you will not find a better 4 channel for this price. They definitely don't make them like this any more!

4. Price: :

$225 each plus actual shipping

5. Trades:

I'd be interested in trading for the following and I will add cash when necessary:

Black Top TRF Motors

15" Ti Baskets

RF 1500bd

Power HX2 Motors

Other big motors in pairs

i sent the money to the wrong place i didn't put an "s" at the end of AverageJoe. all is good now phew. so i am looking at the 800a2 bridged mono for my sub, also what about the 1000.1 the ones with the curved endcaps similar to the one we got but i believe newer models not the 1000a1 just 1000.1? there are 2 800a2 on ebay both without endcaps one for $250 the other for $225

Anything newer RF, I don't really pay attention to. Their products are 'meh' IMO. I personally wouldnt even consider using any of their newer stuff. I'm sure you can find some reviews on the model you're talking about. If you look around you'll find some really good old school amps in the 1k-1500w range. Any mono over 1500w & I prefer newer. If you're looking for an old school mono that can do 1k + at 4ohms, let me know.

like i said i am looking for something for my RE Se 10d4 i believe its rated at 600w rms. i want something to compliment the 800a4
That shouldn't be too hard at all, even if you want something old school. Some good old school Crossfires have been popping up lately. You'll find something soon.
