looks like a beast, but im curious how it took an saz 3k all day and only have 5 hours of play time. Are the days in NY Shorter than here in SD? lol

In all fairness how many hours do you beat on your system in a day? I know I don't get but maybe 2 hours tops if that.

lol yeah basically the commute to college and back mabye an hour a day. i built it, had it in the car for about a week then got a deal on the rockfords. wanted to build another one identical but now i have more subs than i need. dont want to sell it but i dont see using it in the future now that i got the 4hp motors. Its deff not broke in yet and it held up fine to a clean 3k

Depends on the day, i can spend literally all day out there testing boxes and amps beatin on some subs

Lol yea, i was just messin wit ya.... Its a beast of a sub thats for sure. I have a TRF motor here that im lookin to build up soon aswell

yeah thanks man. its a beast. needs to be broken in, on 3k it was barley getting any excursion. in the box thats pictured(mabye 3 cube at 50hz) it did a 142.7 on TL while testing. needs some room to breathe though. im guessing it would like 4.5Cube at 36-38hz

how close to longisland are you? what would work best for this sub? 3-4 cubic feet 34hz 2000 rms all day????

im about 2 and a half hours north of albany. i was thinkin around that as far as box size and i bet it would hammer at 34hz. its got a lvl5 coil with 4 tripple stiff spiders so 2000rms wouldent be a problem. i was throwin around 3k at it and it took it fine
