Sold FS Soundstream 8" Flip DOWN single din

Yes Flip down as this is the largest screen I know of on a single din as the screen flips down not up.

I am going to take a huge loss on this one but that is what I get for letting just anyone do my install.

Unit works 100% as far as playing everything and visability

Screens motor is damaged and you have to help the screen up and down to eject dvd's but it does have a built in usb plug so you can play mp4, mp3 so you can by pass doing this everytime.

Screen has a crack down the top right hand corner that is visable but most of the time you cannot see it and it causes no issues.

This is a steal for someone that wants to try a DVD player or wants to just go a cheap route on one.

$130 shipped and the unit is only 1 month and works

Well I did not think they would cover it for the simple fact my buddy is a brute and an idiot. He told me he could install it as he has done a few in his vehicle and this is the result. No sense in ruining a 17 year friend ship over it but he tried to force it through the plastic din and a half opening at the time and the screen would not fit. In the process of that the screen snapped and the motor broke so this is the result.

I do not think they will cover this under warranty and i dont want to lie to them as carma will always get you one way or another it seems.

This is the unit closed as it pretty much stays in this position as it does not fold into the deck or anything. I thought this was a little wierd too as I thought it tucked away. Soundstream solution for this was a super freakin takcy plastic cover that I guess is supposed to resemble a vent.

Keep in mind this would just be a huge plastic vent in the middle of your dash which is freaking dumb and very stupid looking so it is what it is.

$130 for a DVD player that functions fine on the DVD features and everything BESIDES THE SCREEN AND MOTOR FOR SCREEN as it is pretty much shot now.

I can do $225 shipped for this and the Epic 160 together as a package or $270 shipped for the EPIC 160 four.1 and the Soundstream.

If I cant sell em today or tomorrow they are going to ebay as I know they will bring more money there but I will have to wait 7 days or so to let the auction take its course.

Here is a picture that shows the damage a little better for you guys however it really under normal use in the car does not look near this bad. The light I guess is just hiiting it just right to bring out the cracks.

This is in my mind the best pic of the damage to the screen but may intensify the damage just a little but is the closest to real life everyday looks of the screen.

Well if all else fails and no one has a use for it for CHEAP I will just sell it on the BAY for what I can with my other stuff that no one is trading on or buying either.

Eh oh well I guess. I would rather someone from here get the good deal and get some use out of my stuff though.
