I gotta let it go. This amp can do 250x4 @ 2 ohms continuously, not peak.

Also can use any ohm sub on the rear channels as it is switchable for 4 or 2 ohm and 1 or .5 ohm.

I refinished it in black. You cant beat it. Powering my whole car now, but wont fit so I had to remove the trunk liner. So many features and crossover high enough for active. Plus direct mode that bypasses the crossovers and boost circuitry.

Envisionelec (a veteran amp designer) broke it down here for me - READ THIS

amp gurus, I have a question - DIYMA.com

Basicly 250x4 is reasonable listening to music, not sine waves. Great amp

Dont really want to sell it but it needs a new owner and I needed to simplify and use a narrower amp that would fit so I got a dcref 1000.4 which eliminates my need for the Audiocontrol eqx as well.

$250 shipped

and its heavy

The controls connections area that are covered by the aluminum sheath was left red so you can still see all the settings. Pics available on request of anything. Amazing build quality, amazing components, huge power, the end of mobile ES. They dont make it like this no more (for this price)

200x2 + 500x1 rms with music

or

500x2 @ 4 ohms

Ok, as you can see, I took my time with this and made a super clean line. I actually think the touch of red looks kinda nice, but prefer the aluminum shroud.

Oh, and one of the ground screws is somewhere. Im sure I can grab one off a different amp for you nbd or home depot.

I used a 4 gauge ground and two 8 guage power leads so it didnt matter.

Thanks a lot! Its kinda hard to see how high up the Xovers go, but you said it should run 2 way active?

4 ohms is about 150-200 watts a channel. The amp itself is built to provide 300 watts a channel but that power is there in the reserves. Treat it like 200x4 @ 4 ohms and 500+x2 @ 4 ohms
