1. Soundstream XXX 6500 Amplifier

I bought this with intentions of using on my DD 9515d, but the DD has a messed up coil. I bought the amp new and used it for less than an hour. Since I’m going for SQ, I don’t want to bother with reconing the DD, I will have no use for this amp. It has some minor scratches on the top and bottom of the amp and the mounting on the amp was bent when I received it, though I did fix it. Physical condition is 9.5/10 and actual working condition is 10/10, absolutely flawless. Consider this amplifier as brand new minus the very minor use and wear. I am asking $700 shipped OBO. I package EXTREMELY well and I cover the insurance on the item myself.

2. DD 9515d

I bought this used and it is a custom sub (one of 12 made, and 1 of the 4 Michael Hughes used several years back). It is a dual 1.8 ohm sub. At the moment, one coil reads 1.8 ohms and the other read 0.9 ohms. Also when you push down on the cone it makes a little scratchy noise. It also has the carbon fiber dustcap. I am asking $200 + shipping OBO. Again, I will cover the insurance myself. If you are local (So Cal area) I have a fiberglassed enclosure for the DD (tuned to approx 35 Hz, maybe a little higher) and is 5 cubes net. I'll sell for $100. I will not ship the enclosure, its too huge unless you really want to pay for the shipping.

3. Boston Acoustics Z6

One midrange has the tweeter mounting broken off since I couldn’t get the screw out. If you are going to place the tweeter in a location other than over the mid range and if the mid won’t be viewable it doesn’t matter. The other mid range’s speaker terminal broke and I’m going to try to find the broken piece to solder it back on. The mids work perfectly (both of them). Both crossovers work, however, one of them doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. The tweeter bulb or whatever the bulb is inside, lighted up quicker than the other. Because of that, I didn’t really use the crossovers. I used the mid ranges on an Eclipse 8443 for about six months. I never cranked it up loud, as I mentioned they work great still. I later bought the Z6 tweeters from Boston Acoustics directly and they cost me $140. The price for the mid ranges are $200 + shipping for the pair. Price for the tweeters is $125 + shipping (these have NOT been used and are 100% BRAND NEW!). If you buy the mid ranges and the tweeters I will throw in the crossovers for free and will discount the price to $300. I am pretty firm on these prices, but I MIGHT consider offers. Again, I will handle the insurance myself and it is not included in the prices.

At the moment I’m not really considering any trades since I have an in dash video unit and a new Brahma sub. Only thing I’ll think about is some Arc Audio amps, or Helix, or anything similar to those. If you have questions please feel free to ask me.

I might consider selling my Eclipse AV8132 in dash video unit, PM me if you’re interested.

As for references, I have several. My eBay user ID is changitokitty. I have made transactions on this forum, sounddomain, ROE, caraudioforum.com, and soundpressure.

I will accept PayPal and USPS Money Orders.

Thanks regal8r, thats probably what was meant. I called DD and a recone kit costs $89 + glue + shipping. If you want DD to recone it starts at $130 for the 9515 and it will be more if you want the impedence to be different, like .35, .7, 1 ohm, etc.

Here are pics of the enclosure. It is hard to tell of the shape on the top because of the carpet and angles I took the pics at. I used expanding foam and silicone where the speaker wires come out so its sealed (my dumb@ss put it on the bottom when I meant to do it from the back of the box). The carpet used is great stuff, but not great for the application, it didnt stretch so on some of the edges seams are showing. I thought at first painting it would have cost more, but turns out it would have been less. Carpet is really soft though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Dimensions are as follows:

33" length, 25" depth, 19" height (highest point of the enclosure since the sub mounting is angled).

Port dimensions: 5.25" wide, 18" long, 14.25" tall.

Here is a video of the DD when I had on a tiny RF Punch 500a2. It was only getting 500w and at a comp with that amp I hit 136.8 dB...then I swapped it for my Treo SSX 1500.1 I had with small *** wires, gains turned veeeeeeeery low, and with the hole from the speaker wires not sealed up and I hit a 141.2 dB. I wish I knew how loud I would have been after I did a few other mods and even with the Soundstream.
