I got pair of 12" top assemblies Custom TC Sounds Prototypes with a dual underhung coil in the threaded 4hp motor. Paper Cone Paper Dust Cap and Foam Surround, 4" Dual 3.8dcr Underhung Alum Coils with Alum Former, Dual 10" Stiff Proto Spiders with the Leads On Top (and inside) Alum Basket with Threaded Insert Threaded to fit the 4hp Motor.

The underhung vc only has like a 3/4" winding height and it's a low xmax high efficiency sub unit. it won't go as low as other subs it's size, but could hammer in

the 40-45hz region.

I bought them cause I got several 4hp motors but never got the opotunity to install them and I'll never use them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'm selling just one and was only used for less than an hour for the original owner/builder. I'm keeping the other one cause I would like to use it later but if someone wants the pair, I might sell them for a good deal.

Asking for $150 shipped or trades for 15" Ti cones, 10" spiders or 15" complete Assys for the 4hp motor.

Thanks

How much is your love for those things //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif:greedy://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

crap lol yes i guess you do.

Zeus, are there any motors with really thick top plates that take a 4" coil so that this might perform like a MASS 12" on roids?

Also, what are Cms, Vas, and Qms numbers like on these tops?

Since I haven't owe any Mass Sub so I can't tell you if they perform better than the regular 4hp with 1.400 of tp or the 5400/ultra motor with .572 of tp. You tell me if the Mass sub will outperform to the Ultra Sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also I haven't measured the top plate or T-joke of the boxes in the right, but I'll let you know if they are a regular 4hp or something else //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Lmk if you're really interested and I'll look for the t/s cause got a few and idk which is the one for the pair haha

I've never had the pleasure of hearing or handling a 4HP of any kind so I can't make the comparison either. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Obviously the stock Ultra would be superior to the MASS in terms of distortion due to the LMS coil but if the regular 4HP has a 1.4" top plate, it would seem that a .75" coil would perform very similar to a MASS setup which has a 1.3" top plate. My only concern is that I prefer a high compliance number, in the neighborhood of 250+. I wouldn't want a driver that is really stiff, meant for a crazy-small enclosure, needs gobs of power, and has a high Fs. I want one that has a low Fs anywhere between 18hz and 22hz that will sound as great at low volume settings as it would under higher dynamic use, in medium to large enclosures with medium power applications (800-1000 watts mechanical).

I feel you... Well lmk if you find that driver cause I'm down for a pair, lol I wouldn't mind if the sub needs more juice, I got some available.

I know you said 1.4 tp of the Mass motor but how about the Coil, same .75 winding? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I'm about to build pair of 15's with the ultra motor/Ti basket and a big long Coil designed for a knowledge guy around, not the LMS because I'm not really fan of it. We'll see what happend.

Back on topic and Still for sale!
