Yep everyone i know has or does run their 2500D's at .5ohm. I ran a pair of Powerbass PBX extreme 15's dual 1ohm subs off of mine which is .25ohm. It did get really hot but no problems after 3 months like that. I drove 2 XXX 15's D2's off of mine for the rest of the time at .5ohm for a long time. The amp seems to like .5ohm alot better. For music didn't even get hot.
