Well you got to figure that the amp is 1 ohm stable and then dropping it down to .5 ohms would shorten the amps life.

you replied just before I posted I presume.
if you know anything about box rise you will know that the amp is not seeing anywhere near 1 ohm, I think the lowest impedence in that box will be around 2-5 ohms, and will probably spike in the 20-40 ohm range, if you dont believe me plot out any box for any driver and you will see this. about the only time the amp "sees" .5 ohm is when the vehicle is off and the sub is completely unpowered.
ALSO these amps have been tested by a buddy of mine in OH and he has run them successfully down to .3 ohms, and they produce MAXIMUM power @ .35 ohms (dual .7 Shockers)

anyways, I ran my 1200d's @ .5 ohm each (strapped up @ 1 ohm on an H2 12, four amps, two 12's altogether) and never had ANY problems with them.
go back to Atlantis and continue to fix blown amps or do whatever you do best.

on a side note, i've been involved in two posts over the last week that have been completely shitted on by people who have nothing better to do with their time.

All the guy said to you was with the way your running your amp its going to shorten the life on it. Also you are abusing the guts of the amp.It puts a strain on a amp running at a lower ohm then stated only logic on that part. Im not shitting on your thread but you also have to think there is people out there that know more about car stereo then you do or what you think they do. Good lucl with selling the amp i have a 2500d and its a beast.
