Might be interested...My parents computer is on the main line so what would I need in addition to this piece to wire up my computer to the net?

You will need a wireless linksys router, The router sends out the signal. This adapter that I'm selling picks up the signal from the router and allow internet access on a your other computer.

p.s you need DSL for this, or a Broadband Connection
