Hi,

I have a JL audio 10w7 in a custom enclosure for sale.

South side of chicago, willing to meet for the pick up.

Price $500

The box was custom built by a proffessional at my local high end audio shop.

If i remember correctly is made from 3/4 mdf to JL specs for the 10w7.

As you can see the box is ported.

Dimensions:29 1/2" wide 17" deep 17" tall, roughly

There is about 5" on either side of the box that are just for show.

There is 1 little ding, also there are a few scuffs. Nothing major.

I would rate a 8/10.

Im selling this because i want to start a new project with 2-4 8w7s.

Local pick up only.

The unit is great working condition, when it was installed it was ran of a jl audio 500/1 proffesionally installed and tuned.

It was tuned for sound quality. The amp once tunning was over sat at 3/4 of the way up, with a remote bass nob that i typically had set at 1/2.

I have all the reciepts laying around if your intrested in seeing them.

Check out my ebayfeedback:

It's Formica. Interesting. Never seen that used before. This one guy did stained wood which looked pretty cool. Nice box. GLWS.

theres my qualifying pic... all the other pics are 4 days before this one...

Anyways. Heres the full box dimensions.

17 5/8" tall, 16 1/2" deep, 29 7/16" wide.

Front face 14 1/4" tall, top face 14 1/2"

So the angles arent exactly the same, as you would image with the face and top being 1/4 off. They are very close though. The front angle is 15* from the bottom, and the top angle is 15*from the back.

The port is 18"wide x 1"tall

The front edge just above the woofer measured at a 90* angle from the ground is 14", and that same point measure at a 90* from the back is 14 1/4"

Ha ha. I only know how to spell it b/c I work in real estate. Otherwise, I probably would have spelled it the same way you did b/c I knew what you were talking about.

One more thing, what'd that box cost you?

I paid $300 for that box. That was deeply discounted. Im a frequent customer at this place. I would imagine he would have charged anyone else some 4-500$. Im sure some people will respond with i got ripped etc. I dont have a problem paying for quality. It's S**t i have a problem paying for.

How many cubes' date=' tuning, and port area?[/quote']
sorry, forgot that stuff.

Its 1.5 cubic feet.

tunned to 35.55hz

I dont have an answer to the port area question.

All i could tell u is that its the typical "L" setup

the external opening is 1" x 18"

Also the front where the sub is mounted is 1.5" mdf.
