This thing is reletively new, about 2 months old. I still have the original box it came it.

Cosmetically 10/10

performance 10/10 just got this thing broke in

Dual 6 ohm sub can take it says it can take 700rms but ive heard of ppl given them 1500rms daily I gave mine about 900rms daily with no signs of overheating what so ever.

This is the ultimate SQL woofer great for getting loud but also its a musical sub

Differential Drive Design (DDD) motor

its a beast!

Hi, I have mint MA audio HK-1398 2-channel amplifier with box. It can be used as a mono subwoofer amplifier 1600x1 RMS @ 4Ohm, or it can be used to drive a pair of great component speakers. In stereo mode it will put out 400x2 RMS @ 4 Ohm. It is fused at 35x4 and will be running 1600W RMS all day. Will trade one for one.

It does 1600x1 @ 4Ohms. 2 Ohms is the effective resistance from amplifier's stand point, since it is 2-channel. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

with that in mind about what will this amp put out at 3ohms?

If you bridge that amp, the lowest resistance you can have is 4Ohms - since that amp is not designed to run anything lower than 2Ohm/channel because it is stereo amp. At 3Ohm bridged the effective load is going to be 1.5Ohm/channel. The amp might overheat...

I saw some replies for your decision thread. This amp will easily put 1600x1@ 4 ohm if your electrical system is strong. (200A or so alty) This is class AB amp (like all full-range amps) and it will draw a lot of current if you bridge it to subs. If you are looking for sub-dedicated install you might be better off with class D amp that is rated that high. This is AB monster! Many people can’t enjoy full output because or their electrical problems. The fuse ratings on this amp speak for the kind of power it is able to put out without damaging internal circuitry.

Sorry man im gonna have to pass on that amp. thanks for the offer though
