This thing can take power! Id reccomend 1000RMS-2000rms daily give or take a a few hundred watts, this sub has little play time

It absolutely smashes the lows gets loud and the SQ is amazing

Anyone who has heard this sub please vouch for it

here are some pics

265$ SHIPPED!

the reason why they did that was because this sub was mainly in the market for sql meaning or requiring a bd class or an ab class amplifier that are usually two channel wich when dropped at three ohms load drops the amp to 1.5 ohm load feeding it the power needed.. i dont know if i made sence but Most of you have a class d mono amp that only gives power at 1 ohm or lower well this sub wasnt ment for you Class D people it was ment for the people with BD or AB amps.
Haha... yeah, we all know that Class D is horrible for SQ. Which is why companies like Xtant and Zapco and Alpine all stay away from Class D, eh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And advertising a sub as being capable of handling 3000+ watts is a sure-fire way to appeal to that SQ crowd, too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Did they really say it could handle 3kw? Is this just on burps?

http://jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=W15GTI%20MKII&Language=ENG&Country=US&Region=USA&cat=SUB&ser=GTI

Says 800W RMS... Would you ever put 3kw on it all day? It would be ok to do that?

Even if these were also available as dual 4ohm drivers you would never hear the difference if these were wired at 1ohm or 1.5ohm if the same amplifier was used.

Bump for a nice sub. I had a PPI PC150 bridged into a 12 inch version with no problems.

just keep it man. i would!! its a mint sub, it doesnt deserve to be sold at such a low price!

give it the love it wants and pound it all day!

if i had the right amp for it... i would have bought it the first day i saw this thread.

good luck with sale.
