the back has alot of light scratches nothing deep no dents on the unit...just the typical ipod backing that scratches easier then a DJ
the screen has a few light scratches but is not cracked or chipped
it bought it from a member here but mainly used it for my car stereo....didnt care wtf it looked like cause it was always in my glove box haha
