they were given to me from my cousin YEARS ago who babied them in his car till his nakamichi cd changer h/u and PPI amp got stolen.. The rubber surround fell apart after all these years and i got them redone in foam, recently paid 60 dollars for that service alone. i was REALLY excited to put them in my car then discovered the magnet wont clear my door opening AND it's too deep. also thinking about trading them for a good component set that WILL fit my car, willing to put cash on top too.

They are in average condition, the magnet is chipped a little bit here and there but the Carbon Fiber woofer appears in EXCELLENT shape! I tested them using my Precision Power amp to see how it sounds and it's very smooth, balanced, clear and powerful... this was with NO EQ adjustments! it can handle tons of bass.

I'm hoping to get 100+ shipping if possible, local (Socal) is perferred so we could meet up. I'm kinda close to Disneyland

wish i could //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif the magnet is even too large to fit through the opening! And i dont have the proper EQ to run an active setup (even tho im only using 2 chs from my 4...) so im trying to find a good passive

Do you have to have 6 1/2"s? I've got some nice older Diamond 5 1/4" comps with the aluminum tweeters I'd trade you for those. PM me if you're interested. I have mucho feedback on other forums if you wanna see it.

thanks for the offer but yeah i was hoping for 6.5''. I actually am running some old Diamond D651s right now... They're probably blown though cuz im not overly impressed with it's clarity. sorry

i wish i could tell you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif these are the only IDs my ears have heard. What I can tell you is if you tune these properly they'll sound excellent! The sound they produce is very natural and pleasing, i can tell they can handle lots of power, my 80w amp was quite good already but with more power, they'll really come to life. believe me if it fit in my car i'd be very happy to use them.. sad to let them go but im broke and since i cant use it, might as well give it a good home.

I went with foam only because the place i got it done at didnt stock rubber, i wanted to put them in my car ASAP so i decided to re-edge them locally and not through ID. They claim the rubber lasts a lifetime or something ridiculously long but obviously it didnt since i had to replace them. The factory that repaired them said they'll last at least a good 10-12 years

Absolutely. I have an IDMAX 12 in a 1.65 cubic sealed box on 900 watts and it sounds great. You won’t be disappointed. Pull the trigger.

I may get a pair of his 6" woofers for the back. It's an extended cab pickup so the enclosure won't be as bad as a door with holes in it. Highs...
