Hifonics amps have always been a powerhouse. When they first came out there were only 4 companies that made amps(Linear power and Rockford Fosgate were 2 of them and no slouches at that), but Hifonics was then more powerful and still is. The Colossus is no exception. 3,200 watts into 2ohm and more if you put enough juice to the amp. So if you want to bump go with at least 400 watts, but if you want to pound the sound the Colossus is the ticket. just make sure you have subs that can take the power.
