and what I'M TELLING YOU is the only reason they sell for that is because people are retarded... they are not worth more than 250... period, and thats brand new in the box unlocked, its 200 for the phone and 50 to get it unlocked.

its just like a housing market, a 3000sq ft house in neighborhood (A) may go for 300k, but the same house in neighborhood (B) will go for 450k just because there were people stupid enough to pay that much for the rest of the houses in that neighborhood.

i'm not denying its a good price in comparison to what everyone else is selling them for... i'm simply saying the actual value of the phone and the unlocking process is no where neer what people are paying for them

delete the argument, im not trying to mess up your sale, good luck... try craigslist too, they go for 450-500 on craigslist and your buddy probably have a better chance at the 350-400 mark

and when i worked for AT&T i did just that, i knew someone who unlocked phones and i sold him OTHER phones at contract prices and in turn he unlocked 5 Iphones for me for free, employees get 10% off so i payed 360$ for each of them and sold them for 500$ each, but that was before the 200$ model came out so back then it was a good deal

i understand, i have no idea what they sell for this is not my phone. I just gauged prices according to ebay, and he reminded me today he needed to sell it.

unfortunately he tried that, and even though it's local that is where people are trying to rip him off. The always popular story "I live in Georgia, but my brother lives in Indonesia, can you send the phone to him but let me pay for it?"

I used this back when I was new to paypal, somebody in Oregon paid for my pioneer in dash dvd, and I shipped it to a country overseas. Come to find out it was somebody elses paypal, and because I shipped it overseas to an unconfirmed address then I wasn't covered, goodbye 950 dollars. I literally told him this as he was about to ship it.

the reason they sell that high is because people buy them from international countries where you can't but them in stores
