This amp has been tested on my bench and is guaranteed not to be DOA. No further warranty is expressed or implied. These amps were RATED @ 3000 watts RMS by Digital Designs. Many users have clamped 5k or more at around 1 ohm after actual impedance rise.
EXAMPLE CLAMP TEST FOUND ON ROE:
12 Volts:
4.6 ohms = 2279W
2.3 ohms = 3405W
1.15 ohms = 4188W
14,4 Volts:
4.6 ohms = 3042W
2.3 ohms = 4461W
1.15 ohms = 5358W
Quite a bit of testing is available on these - they were very popular in dB Drag when they were the newest thing from DD. Do some research on them - they are powerful amps. These are "Z1" and not "Z1A" - which was the newer version to replace them.
