What color is the cold cathode and does it work off of a 12v from a car?

It is 12v so yes it should work. It is actually better suited for use in a car because it has the transformer as a separate unit. Too much extra wires cluttering up my case so I want to get rid of it. They are ultra violet (black light).

I will have to take some pics tomorrow morning but if you check on the net you can find pics. Doesnt come with one but I can throw in a EIDE cable for free (grey rounded, black sleeving ok? I also have a Cooler Master shielded EIDE cable I paid $15 for Illl include it for an extra $5.00 if you want it.) if you need one, it includes all original software (PowerDVD), drivers, last updated firmware. Ill even throw in an copy of Nero 6 Ultra Edition if you are seriously interested. Shoot me a PM tomorrow with your email and Ill send you some pics as soon as I have them.

You can play "backed up" games (lol), yes. I have a lot of software preloaded onto it so it is ready to go out of the box once it is delivered. No configuration except for the FTP/Network settings needed. If you are interested please send me a PM. BTW I tried to send you a PM, your inbox is full.
