I have a BROKEN RE HC12 (Q1-Q2, 2003 model). It has the 4-spoke basket with the old dustcap. I am asking for $65+shipping.
Take a look at the link at the pics.

This happened during a shipping scenario about a month ago. So it was sent back to me and believe it or not the sub is REPAIRABLE!
Dave from RE said that the REPAIR COST is around $100-$105 shipped to your doorstep. When you get it repaired it will almost look like the HC12 (2003 newer models) w/ the inverted dustcap and 12-spoke magnet. The only thing is that it will have the old motor. Other than that for roughly $180-$185 dollars you can have this HC sub with an all new look.
What I would do is send the sub right out to RE once I receive payment. I will confirm a tracking number as well as scan the receipt of the tracking info. I would then have RE send it to your physical/current address. You will have to submit the repair cost payment to RE and not me. How does that sound? Not complicated at all!
For further info call RE: 702.896.4823
Talk to Dave and he should be able to handle all of your questions. Also if you need more pics I will definately email them to you. However, if you have any questions for me email me at creemail@yahoo.com
The weight of the driver is around 42-45 lbs to ship, just to give you an idea.
