i may be quite interested in this motor sir, depends on if PSI could recone it or not. Thinking of a single beast 12" using this motor, in 3 cu @ 32hz

Yes psi can recone it. Tantric and crossfire can as well. Uses a ti basket. Same motor as xsv2 spl version.

I like both companies , I had an 18 mayhem reconed to a 15 a few years ago by fi. Sweet sub , I just got involved with psi the past 2-3 years .

Fi makes AA so I would think they'd have parts that would suit it better.

Let's say I buy this motor and get psi to recone it to a 12", think I could make it a daily set up on 5k? I've already got my amp lined up, just looking to get my sub situation set. One helluva motor I wouldn't mind taking off your hands if me/psi could pull this off.

I believe psi can do that for you. If not 5k then def 4k+ but I would suggest a ti basket or one of the new platform sundown baskets. Either of those for strength and higher excursion capabilities.
