Sold FS: AQ HDC3 15"s, ATOMIC 3000.1

Swithching up the system to all DD.

First up is (2) AQ HDC3 15"s, d1 vc's, One Copper and One Alum, BOTH will need reconed in the near future, they work fine and the coils read fine on the DMM, both just have the infamous AQ scratch. I can recone them for you, but they will be sold @ $270 + Shipping and paypal if I do. The scratch isnt really all that audible unless you have your head down near the cone.

$200+ shipping & paypal each, Will split up.

(1) Atomic 3000.1, does 3200w@1 ohm and have never been dropped below 1 ohm. Picked this up from Korn4Life earlier this month. Just have no use for it now that I have my Z1a.

Yep, I ran it for a few weeks and this thing is a legit powerhouse. Never got warm on me once and it isn't a huge current hog.

what is the infamous AQ scratch?

I'm hearing a scratch coming from the woofers, but it MAY just be me and i'm listening too much into it. or it could be the enclosure they are in is tuned WAY too low for them (32hz) they really should be tuned upper 30's to mid 40Hz range.

All I know is that they still work perfect and read straight on a DMM they have both been pulled and inspected and both coils look great and like new, spiders are still fairly stiff on both. I know that if I keep them, I will be throwing a recone on them just in case, but there may be nothing wrong with them at all.
