Doesn't have to be car audio related since I'm pretty much set up already. PM or email me with any questions. I'm going to try to have pics up tomorrow. For refs, you can check my eBay feedback, username mazda3_gt. Also doing a deal with Regal1975 here right now. I bought his Omnifi DMP1, still waiting to receive it and our deal is complete.

Hey guys, here are some things I have for sale:
Alpine CDA-7998, mint condition - $350 or trade for a CDA-9855

Why would you want to swap a 7998 for a 9855?

Ipod control, Sirius, and the steering wheel interface.. I know, I love my 98, but I think I've outgrown it now.. It's a great deck for sure, but I like the 55 and it will do what I need it to..

With that said, this would be a GREAT deal for somebody.. My 7998 is MINT, not a mark on it.. No wear on the buttons.. MINT.. So I would expect the same in a trade for a 9855.. It comes with everything that originally came with it, cage, remote, trim plate, manual, box, etc..

Yes I have heard all about the 9855 but it still has the features that I need so... I'll give it a try.. Again, this is a great deal for someone.. I'll try to get some pics of everything today..

Blunt: Clear out your inbox because I can't reply to your PM..

Since I'm hooked on the biolite display (I would never go back to the stick-figures) I don't really like anything from the '06 lineup.. The 9965 is nice, but way overpriced IMO for a color biolite display.. And it still has glidetouch.. The 9857 is nice except for the 2V preouts.. I don't know why Alpine has to do this.. The 9857 looks like a good alternative to the glidetouch, but then they choose to only give it 2V preouts, and limited bassengine control.. I don't get it.. Do the Alpine engineers not listen to their customers at all? Why do they have to take features away to add something new? Anyways, I think the 9855 is the right deck for me at this point, and it's in my price range and available now.. I don't think anybody would be wanting to trade for their brand new 9965, and honestly it's the only product in the '06 line that interests me..

But I do appreciate you looking out for me tho.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

djman: Still got that stuff? Well, like before, the only thing I would be possibly interested in is the Sub16, and as I recall, you don't have the remote module for it, so I don't really want it without.. Do you have the remote for the line driver? I have the JL 1000/1 which has a remote bass control, but it only adjust the boost, and if I'm reading correctly, the remote for the Audiobahn adjusts freq, Q, and boost.. Is this right?

And I can't use the grille, although it is really purdy.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

correct, it does all three variables. Come to think of it, I STILL haven't heard from Lonny. I'm supposed to meet w/ the guy I got the Alto from for some amp bench testing. I'll ask him if he knows anyone else to contact. I like either of those amps, but to be fair the Rockford is in line w/the ABD. *edit* it IS boxed up ready to ship.
