Run your ipod cable to your glovebox or where ever.

You can change songs with the HU or the remote, can view all of the folders and files on the ipod from the HU also.

No need to even have the Ipod out and about.

Hide it and no one will ever know.

ok but going from an x001 to this possibly, how if any is the search feature or scrolling thru artists to find a specific one.

The picture on page 1 of this thread, the 3 buttons to the right of the volume knob, the button directly under the 3 is the view button.

Hit it once while in ipod mode and you can search through the ipod, you can do search either all of the artists at once that will show every song in the ipod or you can go through the ipod and select a single artist and find the songs from that specific artist instead of scanning through the whole list.

If my ipod wasnt broken, i would for sure take some video of me doing it.

trade for a clarion dxz775usb refurbed with warranty? itll have a brand new circuit board replaced at clarion direct (not a 3rd party authorized service center) so internally it might as well be new.

the dxz has 3 way active, usb, 24bit DAC, and a balls ton of bells and whistles.
