I have an Alpine Phantom Face CDA-7897. If you know about this head unit, you know it is the best competition radio on the market still today. This Unit retailed at about $799.
I am selling it for $250. The reason I am selling it is I am looking for the dead head unit of the same model (CDA-7998).
I am willing to possibly trade as well. I am in need of a good 4 channel amp and/or a good set of 2-way 6 1/2 speakers. Maybe some other stuff too... just shoot what ya got.
Unit is in great condition (very small wear on one button), comes with everything including the sleeve, remote control, etc.
The only issue with the Head Unit is the AI Net controller (which is not required for unit functionality). When I plug my XM Unit into the AI Net you have to crank the volume to hear it. I am not sure if it is the XM Unit or the Head Unit. I talked with Independence Audio and they said that if it was the AI Net controller (which is only needed for XM or AUX) that they have the replacement AI Cable for like $30.
