Want to replace those old mid's you've had forever kicking around this christmas? How about a great sounding pair of 6.5" lightly used Rainbow Vanadium phase plug mid/bass drivers. You know that Rainbow has a great reputation for clean and effortless musical recreation and these are just a couple models down the line from their $7,000 reference drivers. I only have the mid-bass drivers - sorry no tweeters.
I know Oscar used these for less than three months on a top quality system - and they were never abused. I only hooked them up once to hear them, but since I never got them mounted, they sat on my counter for the last two months or so. I've been too busy with a false floor installation, building another sub box, installing my new Clarion DRZ9255, installing my new motorized monitor/tv screen, building a new set of high end rca runs, and building new sub boxes to get to these little gems. Now money is short and I doubt I have the energy left to totally redo my doors to install these properly (which would include some major modifications).

These are very pretty drivers despite some minor cosmetic damage that occured while being shipped to the original owner. The grills apparently slipped and rubbed on the point of one of the phase plugs. Check out the pictures below... they look fine and work awesome.
There are also a couple little dings on the aluminum cone surface that don't show up well - but again, they won't show up in your install either nor do they make the slightest difference in the sound.
So, what about the price, right? If I remember correctly, the current retail on these is $350 per pair, and if anything that is low. If you live in the continental US, I'll put them on your doorstep for only $200!
