Its more for SPL but would work for a dd. I would compare it to a BTL or an MT. I was using it in a 5cf enclosure

I heard 2 12" Team RFs off a AB500.1 the other day nd it was jus nasty how loud it was...Daily driver 40hz tuning, far from a SQ driver but is on par w/ MT/BTL/DD 9500 SQ....without question though the SPL is on par or louder then the other subs mentioned.
