I got a Mechman alternator that was used less than 3 months. It comes with the original packaging, external voltage regulator, the harness, and unit itself.I'm not frequent on the forum, but will check PMS on a daily basis now. The alternator was installed on a 2004 blazer. $300 shipped.

What are the blue and white aires that go into the plug I always wondered that? is that for the regulator and where does the ground run from the alternator go?

one wire goes to the + on the voltage regulator. Second wire goes to the - on the voltage regulator. Third terminal on the external regulator goes to an ignition switch. Very simple install and very stable voltage

Will that alt bolt up on to the 5.3 vortec? I cant see the bolt formation good enough to be able to tell. If it will I think I have a buyer.
