how will one of them sounds with a 500/1? Sorry I'm a noob, I know ppl usually run it with the 1000/1 but I have a 500/1 right now.

My Treo amp died, so i'm running a 200w amp on one of the subs right now, and it doesn't sound half bad! LOL

500 would sound great. 1000 would be too much, however it would be great for a 12 or 13 IMHO. 600-800 would be ideal but 500 would definately be more than plenty. Plus you could always build a ported box and it would be about perfect!

One of those subs powered by the 500/1 will SLAM! I had one w/ the 500/1 in a ported enclosure and it was LOUD!
