Sold FS: 1987 Chevette SPL Comp car

Im sure many of you recognize this car as it was Kent from H and K. Well I will try and keep this story short, I bought the car from him two months ago for $5,000. I was told the car had some minor flaws but for the most part drove and ran flawlessly. Well simply put that was false, the car leaks oil, as far as I can tell the entire oil pan gasket needs replacement and other things may be wrong but that is all I can tell. The car also Idles high at about 1200rpms but I was told that new hoses on it would fix it. Also the solenoid in the drivers door needs to be replaces. I would love to build this car up but I just dont have the time or money for this at the moment. Anyone who is a little good with motors and small parts can fix her right up. Being a full time student its just not for me and its not what I bought it for.

Well built box for 2 18"s which i can include

360amp Ohio gen alternator

600' of 1/0

Custom fiberglass pods

newer paint job

no visible body rust (maybe a little in the undercarriage)

new chrome rims and new tires

5 layers of dynamat in roof

trunk is all dynamat

there are severl more things the car includes but I have forget to list as it is late and i am tired. I am looking for $4500obo or trade. Let me know what ya guys got thanks. BTW this car has done 156s in streetmax and has placed at finals before. So it has a lot of potential

Hers some pics, none yet of the leaky engine. BTW the car runs and drives just leaks after the motor is turned off and it is warm.

No doubt i beleive it has 32 runs to be exact of copper, 16 ground and 16 power with the custom bus bars all over the place as well, theres a fair amount of copper in here and the Ohio generator 360 alt with ext. regulator is a beast too.

Car was done right, also car was expressed to have oil leak, I drove the car 300 miles and dropped it off with nothing more than I told you about. I told you the idle was high but with alternator adjusted to 18 volts it idles like it should.

Also, car did a 156.6 in Street Max with two Autotek MM4000.1s FYI. They are not the most powerful amps out there for street class, great amp but not the strongest, especially when the car is setup for 4 amps.

Good luck with the sale, and you still owe me money on the car so I guess the problems are there for you to complain about? I wish the deal would of went smoother.
