Sold FS: 1987 Chevette SPL Comp car

Im sure many of you recognize this car as it was Kent from H and K. Well I will try and keep this story short, I bought the car from him two months ago for $5,000. I was told the car had some minor flaws but for the most part drove and ran flawlessly. Well simply put that was false, the car leaks oil, as far as I can tell the entire oil pan gasket needs replacement and other things may be wrong but that is all I can tell. The car also Idles high at about 1200rpms but I was told that new hoses on it would fix it. Also the solenoid in the drivers door needs to be replaces. I would love to build this car up but I just dont have the time or money for this at the moment. Anyone who is a little good with motors and small parts can fix her right up. Being a full time student its just not for me and its not what I bought it for.

Well built box for 2 18"s which i can include

360amp Ohio gen alternator

600' of 1/0

Custom fiberglass pods

newer paint job

no visible body rust (maybe a little in the undercarriage)

new chrome rims and new tires

5 layers of dynamat in roof

trunk is all dynamat

there are severl more things the car includes but I have forget to list as it is late and i am tired. I am looking for $4500obo or trade. Let me know what ya guys got thanks. BTW this car has done 156s in streetmax and has placed at finals before. So it has a lot of potential

Hers some pics, none yet of the leaky engine. BTW the car runs and drives just leaks after the motor is turned off and it is warm.

clean car...looks nice..but to the person that said it would hit a 160 in SMthat would be very very hard to do....

With a little bit of time it could be louder.I have heard it with the old system in and it was loud.The car does have good potential.Sorry it didn't work out for you Bumpin.

I had a 1983 White Chevette Coupe w/a 5 speed.It was a fun little car to drive,back then.Really had no Issues w/it except for the Heater Control plastic that the cables connected to.

But I'm sure that was addressed by 1987.It's a cute 'Vette,and All the Best w/your Sale/:veryhapp:.

Thanks guys, other then the leaky motor its a good car, btw only has 75,000 original miles on it and ****** goes through all the gears flawlessly (automatic)

I dont have any interior pics on me at the moment, the car is at my moms house in the extra garage, I can get pictures next time i go home, the interior is in okay condition but nothing fancy, it has some cracks in the plastic panels and some dirt but it does the job and does it loud
